Hello! Thank you so much for your comment and for reading! Same here... the soul crushers on New Year's Day coming off of suboptimal sleep, dehydration from alcohol, and the fatigue/stress that can accompany the holidays is not a setup for success. I might have gotten away with it in my 20s, but that ship has sailed! <LOL> Now is the time to train smart for longevity and for the joy of movement!

Love the progressive structure here, especially the emphasis on scaling options throughout. The TABATA intervals with longer rest between movements feel way more sustainable than trying to crush intensity right out of the gate on New Years Day. I've done way too many January 1st workouts that left me sore for a week and killed motivation right away, so the approch of ease back in and build momentum makes sense. The core stability sequence at the end is a smart finisher without overdoing it.
