HI Dixie... thanks for reading! Creatinine is a kidney function test and creatinine is a naturally occurring substance found in the muscle of animal protein. I'm not sure why your levels are elevated... you may want to check in with a provider.

My creatine level is elevated? Why would that be ? Difference between creatine and creatinine?

Dixie do you do high intensity training or intense strength training by any chance? My creatinine levels were high as well and I had read that it is a byproduct of muscle metabolism and that intense workouts could elevate the levels. I scheduled another test after a “deload” /rest week (which I planned during a week of vacation 😊) and my levels had returned to within acceptable range. I’m not a medical professional, just giving my anecdotal experience!
