I am so sorry to hear that you are going through such difficulty... but remember, "heavy" is a relative term. What is heavy for me is different from what's heavy for you and different from the next person. We have a saying in CrossFit: "It starts with a PVC pipe". That is an unweighted piece of plastic piping that is our starting point for learning how to squat, press, and many other things. So if right now, that's heavy for you, you are still doing the work!!!!! ... and it will still help. Keep up the great work and be very proud of what you are able to do. :)

Thanks.

I tell people that all the time, "heavy" weights are different for each of us. I just want to feel like I got a great workout in, at least 3 days a week. Some days are better than others, and that's okay too.

๐Ÿ˜ž as a woman in her mid 50's with hypothyroidism, still going through post surgical menopause, who's HRT meds aren't working, struggling to workout like she used to...this made me feel worse. I wish I had the energy I did even 1 yr ago. I try, don't get me wrong, I strength training 2-3 days a week, do short focused mini workouts on some other days, but geesh not like I used to. I'm hoping soon my energy will be back so I can hit the weights / workouts like I did.
